About Us 

Avoid Accident is a non-profit and non-governmental Road Safety Organisation in India, working for road safety , injury prevention, Speed and Justice for road traffic victims. We are associate member of Global Alliances of NGOs for Road Safety, International Road victims Partnership, International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP), Youth For Road Safety YOURS, European Road Charter, Three Star Coalition and United Nations Global Compact. 

Under Pillar 5 of Decade of Action, we are working  to improve and provide Affordable, Available and Accessible Post Crash Response. We are working for Justice and compensation for road traffic victims. Under Pillars 2nd “Infrastructure”, we are focusing sustainable urban transport planning to improve basic road infrastructure, inclusive and  safe mobility of vulnerable road users. 

Safe Schools Secure Journey is our special initiative to enhance safety measures and improve infrastructure in and around schools to secure journeys of our children. And in general we are working on non motor vehicle safety which includes a special drive “See Me Save Me ” through which we make cycle visible on roads and train them to respect road safety. Behavioral Approach for the Schools Bus Drivers in particular, Respective RED, Slowdown, Buckle up at Back, Women Wear Helmet and many more.
